Live Your Passion – Day 4
What does this mean to you? It means the little guy has more power and more opportunity than ever before! It means that you can begin building your business by building solid customer relationships – even before they are your actual customers!
Consider your primary business customer relationships or social media rather than the widget or service you represent. By doing so you’ll quickly realize that the stronger you build your social following, the easier it is to monetize. People buy from those they know, like and trust. Therefore, rather than trying to sell, sell, sell right away, consider building a following of those who know, like and trust YOU.
An additional benefit of this process is that it’s much easier to introduce new products and services since the brand and credibility is in YOU rather than in just your previous widget or service. Since people know, like and trust YOU, they will have a high likelihood of trying your new offering.
In simple terms, your goal is to push out great content and attract lots of traffic. The following will show you the basic flow:
The goal is to share great content on social media and other sites. Social media communities will quickly share your content with others given it contains great value. The more people who share it, the more links are created back to your site, and the better your content ranks in search engines. The better your rankings, the more visible it is to more traffic.
To exponentially accelerate this process, find others who are doing the same thing in related areas of your passion and partner with them. Online its often referred to as forming a “Tribe.” By forming or joining a tribe you can share content (web syndication) and thereby immediately increase your reach enormously.
Note:
